Acadiana area priests will show off their culinary expertise and prepare their own authentic Cajun Gumbo for you to taste and vote! You get to decide who is the best cook as they go "Collar to Collar" in a fun competition like no other! With cajun food, and talented priests, this is a one-of-a-kind event you do not want to miss!

How does voting work?
Our competing priests will be vying for two trophies, the People’s Choice and The Judges’ Choice!
Taste and vote for the best gumbo in this culinary competition to select the "People’s Choice Award". Vote early and vote again once you taste the gumbo! Votes cost $1 and support the mission of John Paul The Great Academy.
You will purchase tokens to vote for your favorite gumbo as you make your rounds to each tent

Our 2024 Judges will also vet each priest’s gumbo and award a “Judges’ Choice Award” to the deserving chef!
